Jenna believes that strong relationships are the foundation of successful learning. She takes time to get to know each child as an individual - their strengths, challenges, interests, and learning style. Lessons are carefully tailored to each learner’s pace, with clear explanations, encouragement, and resources that connect to what they enjoy. This approach ensures every child feels comfortable, motivated, and confident, whether they require additional support or stretch and challenge.
Jenna also has extensive experience supporting neurodiverse learners, including children with ADHD, autism, and anxiety. She uses flexible and inclusive strategies designed to build trust, engagement, and long-term confidence.
-
Homework is optional and included at no extra cost. If parents would like it set, then short tasks that reinforce the learning can be provided. Any homework is reviewed during the following lesson. This ensures that all support is given directly to the child in an interactive and constructive way.
-
Weekly email updates summarising what your child has covered, strengths and next steps.
If you would like to speak to your child’s tutor directly, this can be arranged within the 60-minute session time. Please inform your tutor in advance so they can set aside 5 minutes at the start or end of the lesson to chat with you. This ensures time can be managed effectively while keeping your child’s learning the main focus of the session.

Free trial lessons are not offered, as each tutoring session involves personalised planning and resources. However, a free 15-minute consultation (online or by phone) is available before booking. This informal discussion allows tutors to learn more about your child’s needs, explain their approach, and answer any questions.
There is no obligation or commitment following the consultation, giving parents the opportunity to decide whether to proceed with tutoring once they have all the information they need.
