Meet the Tutor

Jenna Hall is a fully qualified primary school teacher with over eight years of experience helping children reach their potential. She specialises in English and Maths for Key Stage 2, providing tailored tutoring for a wide range of learners. Jenna is passionate about education and founded Flourish Forward Education to give all children the personalised support and encouragement they need to feel confident and enjoy their learning.

Teaching Experience

Jenna has taught in a variety of schools across the UK and internationally, supporting children of all abilities, including those with SEND and neurodiverse learning profiles. She has experience teaching every age group from Nursery through to Year 6, and her lessons are always personalised, engaging, and designed to build both confidence and enjoyment in learning. Alongside her classroom roles, Jenna has provided extensive tutoring, including 1:1 lessons online and in homes, as well as small group tuition in schools through the National Tutoring Programme.

Teaching Philosophy

Jenna believes that every child is capable of success—it is simply a matter of finding the right approach for each learner. She is passionate about making learning enjoyable, building confidence, and showing children that progress can be both fun and rewarding. While traditional classrooms work well for many, she recognises that some children thrive with a more personalised approach that reflects their needs and interests. Her lessons are carefully structured and interactive, with clear explanations, encouragement, and resources tailored to each child. Jenna’s goal is always to make learning a positive experience

Supporting All Learners

The children Jenna works with have a wide range of needs. Some require support to close learning gaps and rebuild confidence after finding topics challenging in school. Others have additional needs or learning differences that make the classroom environment difficult, and benefit from a quieter, more personalised approach. Jenna also works with high-achieving pupils, providing stretch and challenge through opportunities to extend their thinking and explore learning in greater depth.

Beyond the Classroom

Outside of teaching, Jenna enjoys running, live music, and exploring the outdoors - often with a coffee in hand! She is a keen traveller who loves discovering new places and cultures, often drawing on these experiences to enrich her teaching. A lifelong dog-lover, she values curiosity and care both in learning and in life.
